With your help and feedback the Re Generation continues to evolve, with new features planned to be implemented over the next 12 months, the Re Generation system is being expanded to include:
Becoming an Associate member of the Re Generation is simple. All you need to do is complete the registration form. We have tried to make it as easy as possible, but as we are the reverse of the conventional employment paradigm, we understand that time is needed to think through and unbundle your skills. You can save your data at anytime, come back later and login using your Username and Password. Once you have provided all the necessary information you will be an active member and your listed skills will be available to searchers! It's that simple. You can amend your details at any time via the My ReGeneration page. You can also hide any of your skills at any time - making yourself invisible to searchers.
You can upgrade to Full Member status at any time. Being a Full Member gives you greater control. We are continually gathering market statistics and “who’s who in the Zoo” The feedback even includes keywords from the most successful descriptions other members with your skill are using. We try to give you similar information to that which a small business might use in their market.
We encourage you to think outside of your business or vocational skills, and evaluate all of your skills and talents. Soft Skills are very important for business to ascertain whether you may fit their required Skill-Mix. Consider your hobbies or your pastimes – skills can lie forgotten or hidden in many of your activities. As eBay® has proven with goods, you can be surprised that what you take for granted, others will take for gold. We are the eBay® for your skills!

Like all sites of this nature, you must be over 18 years old. You can use a parent or guardian as a contact point with all initial communications from searchers going directly to the parent or guardian. Note: There may be legislative requirements or advice which applies in your State.
We do not hold your credit card details, they are transient. Once your membership transaction has been completed your credit card details are instantly removed from our system. There are naturally limitations to any security, and we advise you to read our Privacy Agreement regarding Security Issues.
There are two basic tenets upon which the Re Generation was created :
You become an Associated Member as soon as you have entered sufficient detail to allow us to display your skills. As an Associate Member you have immediate access to everything in Point (1) above. You are an interactive member trading throughout Australia. All information published generally on the site is available to you.
Full Membership is for those who wish to strategically monitor their skills in the market. We track each of your skills separately and collect data from the market. Not only supply & demand detail across the country, but information from competitors on high scoring keywords and, importantly, what keywords searchers are using. See What are the Full Member reports like? below for examples of the actual reports, however we describe them and their purpose here:
Searches for your skills
This report provides a detailed analysis on the skills you have provided as part of your unique skills signature®. This will show you how popular your skill is in your home postcode as compared with the total and most popular postcodes. If you were considering moving locations you would know where your skills were in most demand.
For each skill we display three statistics.
This is a valuable tool to ascertain the appeal of your skills. It allows you to make decisions regarding the direction of your skills. If you are currently employed, you are able to chart the market value of your skills.
Searchers viewing your details
This report shows a detailed breakdown of which postcodes have searched for the skills you have provided in your skills signature® and then gone on to view those skills. That means when your skills have appeared in a search, the searcher has then clicked on the skill and read how you have described your details. In this way you can tell how many people are considering your skills even if they haven’t contacted you.
For each postcode that has searched your skills signature® we see a breakdown by primary category for each of your fifteen skills and the number of times it has been viewed.
You are able to ascertain the demand for your skills by individual postcode. It is also a measure of the effectiveness of your advertising text used against each skill
Top Postcodes for skill Searches
This report allows you more flexibility in analysing any skill in the marketplace. It shows the number of searches in descending order, the postcodes that have been searching for the selected skill.
Measure the demand for particular skills and plan the skills you want to acquire or improve on as you see how popular a particular skill is and in what suburb it is in greatest demand.
Top skill searches in area
This is the reverse of the previous report in that you can select a postcode and it will give you the skills in greatest demand. It lists by the number of searches in descending order that have been made from the selected postcode.
Here you can also plan your skills mix as you discover what skills are needed in a particular area – your area if you will.
Keywords (members usage)
When you list your skills in your skills signature® you have an additional area where you may describe your skill in greater detail - Advertising Text. This description is broken down into keywords and analysed to see which words are most popular for particular skills i.e. keywords which are more commonly used by members in their descriptions.
This has the effect of allowing you to fine tune the way you describe your skill to best compete with other members for that skill.
The report allows you to select any skill, which then displays by the number of searches in descending order, the keywords used against that skill, how many times it is used in advertising text and how many times it has been searched for. It then compares these values with the number of other members with this keyword.
Keywords (searchers usage)
Here we analyse the keywords according to the people searching for skills. A skill is selected and the report displays the top keywords by the number of times that that word is searched for and then compares it with the number of members with that skill.
This shows how the searcher views a particular skill and more importantly exactly what keywords are included in their search criteria.
This adds to the information you need to enable you to plan your skills mix and highlights where additional training/learning is needed.
To Come...
As we add new facilities, such as Group & Team establishment and sophisticated Library features (linked to your specific skills) these will automatically be made available to Full Members. Our aim is to equip members with information akin to that of a business, enabling them to effectively and strategically market their skills.
Reports available to Full Members include information relative to your particular skills, supply & demand statistics, your performance against competitors, top performing skills and the smart keywords of successful marketers. See the samples below...

We like to expand the question a little further and ask “Why should I become a member if I am still employed?”
The only way you can establish your true value is to understand how your skills perform in the open market. It is very difficult to establish your value within the 4 walls of your employer. We all seek security, and the market in general provides the information for you to establish your competitive worth.
With the Re Generation your identity is hidden: a first name and your Skills Signature is all that is available for display. When not using the service you can hide your skills so they are not available for display. Even so, as a Full Member the Market Reports available to you show how the skills contained in your Skills Signature are performing in the market - even if your own skills are hidden. This puts supply & demand statistics, security and future planning at your finger tips.
The Skills are organized into Summary Folders. Each Summary Folder provides a grouping of like Skills. This makes finding the right Skill for your search easier. Click on the folders to expand them and see the list of Skills in each. Once you find the right Skill, click to select it. It will be highlighted in light blue.
If you are having difficulty finding the right Skill, you can search for the Skill using the Find Skill search box: Enter a keyword and click the Go button. The Skill Folders and Skills displayed will be narrowed down to reflect the keyword you have entered.
You may like to refine your selection by focussing on a particular skill-mix. These additional skills are simply entered into the Optional Keyword text Box, they form a temporary taxonomy that further enhances the search relevancy.
You must enter your postcode to search the Re Generation. Your search results will be presented in order of those members closest to your postcode.
If you are looking for very specific Skills or want to narrow down your search further, you can choose to add extra keywords to your search. the Re Generation members have the option of adding additonal details about their Skills and any keywords you enter here will be matched to this detail. Similarly if you require a specific skill-mix, add other skills in this area and these will also be considered in the search criteria. If you leave the keywords blank you will get a wider selection of results featuring all members with the specific Skill you have selected in the Skills List.
Members matching your search criteria will be displayed in the Results Table. There may be more members in the table than can be shown on one screen. Just use the scroll bar on the right to view them all.
If you added any optional keywords to your search, the first column in the table will show the relevance of the member's skills in relation to your keywords. The more blue shading in the bar, the more relevant the member's skills are to your search.
The kms column shows the member's distance to the postcode you entered on the search page.
By default the Results Table is sorted by distance to your postcode. Click a table heading to re-order the table (i.e. to list by relevancy instead). Clicking again will reverse the order (i.e. most to least relevant or least to most relevant).
Available information about the member is displayed. This includes:
Note: You may need to use the scroll bar to the right of the details panel to see all the available information.
Additionally, at the members discretion, they may choose to publically disclose the following:
If the member has provided a phone number you can call them directly. If there is no number or you would prefer to use email, simply click the 'Contact This Member' button. Provide your name, email address and your message to the member. This will be emailed to the member by the Re Generation system and the member can then choose to respond to you directly.
To request a members experiences, scroll to the very bottom of the skills list and you will see a link in blue "send a release request". Click this link and a request will appear in the members home page.
You can use the 'Previous' and Next' buttons to move through the members returned in your Search Results, or return to the Results List using the button top-right.
To perform another search just select the 'Search' tab, top-left of the results panel.
The information you supply to us is very important. We use it to ensure we provide the best possible service for you.
We only disclose a small amount of your information to potential buyers, as shown below.
It is not mandatory for you to supply a Phone Number, but it is an important point of contact. You can choose whether your number should be disclosed to searchers or not.
You should carefully consider how you use your Phone Number. If you supply a number and choose to show it to searchers it will be available in search results. Searchers will have the option of contacting you immediately by phone. In this case we suggest the number you use is a mobile or a fixed line telephone with an electronic answer service.
p>If you choose not to disclose your number, searchers will only be able to contact you via email (this is done through the Re Generation system – your Email Address is not disclosed to the searcher until you choose to respond to the searchers email).Your Email Address is a vital point of contact for the Re Generation and for searchers. When entering your Email Address please take time to ensure it is accurate. If you register and do not receive a confirmation email, please sign in check the Email Address to ensure it has been entered correctly.
We will not disclose your Email Address to any third party.
Your Email Address is not disclosed to searchers by the Re Generation system. Initial email contact from a searcher will come through our system to your Email Address. This assures your privacy until you choose to respond directly to a searcher. In addition, your Email Address is not exposed to potential spammers and other Internet scams.
Both your Username and Password must be 6-12 characters in length and consist of a combination of alphabetical characters (letters) and numeric characters (numbers). Please make sure you can remember them.
The combination of your Username and Password is both your security and key into your master file details and member information areas, so keep them safe.
As a matter of policy we would suggest you do not share your Username and Password with anyone.
You may change your Password at any time during your membership. Contact us if you have any issues regarding your Username and/or Password.
Important: Your username (and your First Name) are displayed in search results. For this reason you should choose a Username that you are comfortable being represented by. Do not use your Email Address as your Username as this will expose your Email Address to searchers.
We have all been trained to look at our Skills and Talents in a one dimensional fashion. The single vocational Skill that fills your pay packet tends to take all of the focus. If you ask people what they do, they respond with an occupation: I'm a teacher; I'm a farmer; I'm a journalist. If any of these people are unemployed, they may discover that there is little demand for their occupation. But, an occupation is the sum of a wide array of Skills, experience, and personal attributes. In today's market, it could well be that some of these 'secondary' Skills are in short supply and highly valued.
At the Re Generation we ask you to evaluate yourself and look outside the square. Evaluate some of your 'soft Skills' and acquired experiences, even your hobbies. Think of where your accumulated Skills may be applied, be it practical, in business, in the community or volunteering. Examples of 'soft Skills' are leadership, negotiation, organizational and practical mentor-ships. When it comes to knowledge, you are very wealthy, and the Re Generation provides you with the opportunity to invest that wealth in an Internet knowledge bank. In the future we may supply you with market feedback about which Skills are attracting attention and where, allowing you to frame and promote your Skills accordingly.
Your membership entitles you to advertise up to fifteen Skills and Talents. These Skills and Talents form a unique asset – an asset we call your Skills Signature®.
To create your Skills Signature®, find each Skill within the Add Skills panel and add them to your Skills List. The Skills are organized into Summary Folders. You can search for particular keywords using the Find Skill search box and the Go button - or navigate through the Summary Folders.
The Summary Folders in the Add Skills panel encompass Skills that are similar in nature. Some Summary Folders may cover sections of industry, while others seek to classify Skills according to their performance.
When attempting to find your Skill, remember the Skill descriptions may be complex and similar Skills may appear in a number of Summary Folders. If you have a unique Skill that is not apparent in the list please contact us and we will endeavour to assist.
If you want a break at any time (e.g. to take a holiday), you can simply choose to hide one or all of your Skills to remove those Skills from search results.
When the search results are presented to searchers, the nearest people with the right Skills will be listed first, but a relevancy will also be attached to each person. This relevancy score is obtained from your Experience details. So while the nominated Skill is important, the "ideal" member may have advertised a Skill slightly different to the search Skill, but with relevant experience that the searcher may require.
[disclosed at your discretion]
The list of your Experience is intended as a summary only and is used to offer a prospective searcher a glimpse of your Skills and Talents history. You may choose to restrict it to your vocational experience or you might want to include relevant history outside of the scope of your career to support your Skills Signature®
When adding your experience details, be sure to keep the information concise. A bullet point style will be easier for searchers to read. Note that keywords within your Experience details are used to calculate relevancy for search results.
Remember, you may need to have a more comprehensive list of experience to support the summary if requested by the searcher at a later date.
You can authorize us to only disclose your Experience upon authorization from you for each search, or you can choose to make your experience generally available.
Important: With your permission, your Experience details will be made available to searchers. Do not use names and contact details of referees. If you wish to provide referees you should wait until you have established contact with the searcher.
[disclosed at your discretion]
If you have Qualifications that are applicable to any of your listed Skills you can detail them here. Be sure to note expiry dates where applicable for licenses and keep the information up to date.
Qualifications are not used to provide relevancy for the Re Generation search engine.
Every time you show you care enough about your friends and colleagues to refer someone to the Re Generation and they upgrade their Associate membership to Full Member and nominate you as the person who suggested they move up, and if you are a current member, you will receive a "Skills Member Champion" $5 reward. This amount will accumulate and be paid monthly.
Membership of ReGeneration is not only for those seeking to market their skills at the present time, as you may currently be fully employed. Having access to the Skills Market, you are able to test the marketability of your skills – even if you choose not to display them for searchers, as a Full Member, it allows you to chart demand and competitiveness. What security!. You measure your marketability not within the four walls of your current employer, but in the market at large – it’s information you need to know.
Associate Membership is FREE and gives you access and advertising rights to the market. If the conventional recruitment industry is correct, and only 2 or 3 jobs out of 10 are ever advertised – don’t you think you have the right to go to the larger market and say “Here I am – let’s talk!?”.

The Company may, at its sole discretion, make special term offers to attract members. Such offers may involve one-off reduction in fees or an extension of the membership term.
The relationship between a member offering a Skill or Talent and a user (searcher) is one of contract. You should not enter into this contract unless:

The major credit card companies have implemented a system to help guard against fraud. This system may be variously called CVV2 (Visa), CVC2 (MasterCard), or CID (American Express). The verification number is a non-embossed number printed on the credit card to ensure the credit card used in a transaction is actually posessed by the user.
For American Express cards, it is a 4 digit number located on the front of the card, on the right hand side above the card number.
For Visa and MasterCard, it is a 3 digit number located on the back of the card in the signature strip. if more than 3 digits appear in the strip it is the last three digits.
